From the President: For the past twenty two years I have worked with print publications in the buy/sell world of advertising. From the beginning I was always concerned regarding the response the advertiser received from placing their advertisement in the different publications. Four years ago I started working in the List Marketing Department and my eyes were opened to a whole new realm of advertising. I saw the effectiveness of direct marketing. Not only can the advertiser choose the type of businesses they would like to target but they also have complete say in the demographical and geographical area they would like to hit. Working with print publications their only goal was to get the advertiser to run in their respective publications. It didn't matter that a more effective way could serve the advertiser better. In other words the print publications were working for the publication not the advertiser. I felt strongly that was wrong. I also found that in print publication the mailing list was low priority. Not only did they not update the information in a timely manner but they would continually send to certain segments of the industry while leaving other parts of the industry with little or no circulation. In other words, you took chances every time you advertised. That, in a nut shell, is why I started this business. We work with the advertiser to get the best results for them. We are continually working on the different mailing lists to have the most effective up-to-date companies on the respective lists. We are always cleaning, adding and updating the list. We also have some innovative ideas and at the present time we are compiling the type of equipment the different manufacturing companies are using. For example, if an advertiser comes to us and ask to reach companies which use plastic injection molding machines we will be able to supply the list for him. Since our focus is completely centered around our lists we spend the time, money and effort to keep them as up-to-date as possible. I hope you try this alternative.
